Church buildings around Atlanta

In my opinion, one of the most endearing parts of living in Atlanta is the abundance of OLD church buildings. Granted, I am sure this is the case all around the Bible Belt, but it's kind of cool to see so many architecturally interesting buildings smack dab in the middle of the city.

I do believe this is a Catholic cathedral. Huge building. I hope the hold Christmas Mass. That would be a cool thing to go to.

And last, but not least the "First Church of Christ Scientist"

Awesome.

Very cool pictures, Rachel. Beautiful architecture. Now, I'm curious what YOUR building looks like. :)

I love Christmas "midnight" Mass, too! One year I sang in their choir with a friend from school. She would come to Primary with me, and I went to some of her catecism (Sp?) lessons and ended up in the choir with her. Fun memories. Our Max has had the most experience singing in other church buildings-some gorgeous cathedrals and sancutaries around the world. Good, important way to understand other's beliefs. I love seeing what you are discovering in Atlanta!
